Filing Kazakhstan ETAs for a Group or Tour Party

Start with eligibility, not with the passenger list

A group is not uniform. In a mixed party some travellers need an ETA, some are exempt because they hold a visa, and children under 16 are exempt outright. Check each passport against the portal's visa / visa-free section before collecting a single payment.

Then build the itinerary table

The application asks about the trip, and the trip belongs to a person. Build one row per traveller with their passport number, citizenship, date of birth, flight and dates. File from that table, not from a name list.

Group filing sheet

• Name as printed in the passport
• Passport number, nationality and date of birth
• Flight and trip dates
• Whether they hold a visa (and are therefore exempt)
• Filed date and result

Different flights are normal

Tour parties often arrive across several flights. Each application carries the trip it belongs to. Putting everyone on the first flight because it is tidier creates records that do not match the journey.

Work backwards from the 72-hour floor

Set the internal deadline at least four days before departure so a rejection still leaves time to correct and refile. Collect passport scans in advance, and chase the two people who always send theirs last.
